no there is a big difference between geeks and nerds. Geeks are more socially accepted than nerds. Geeks typically like things like scifi and computers and comic books etc. Nerds like Math and chemistry. I used to be a nerd. Then I became a little more adventurous in the social realm and now I'm pretty popular in all my social circles. Thinking of going into politics no less. lol. But yeah. sorry. maybe you can become a Depthgeek after 2000 posts. lol

What a great story. We should all have such a nice life. The marriage thing really struck me. I have been married 33 years myself, but to be apart like that at a young age is special. I would say you are going to make it.
Thanks for sharing!!!

Excellent! The Juilliard-trained banjo picker. What did you record with him? This might have been around Cosmic Hippo time. Was he solo or with the Flecktones? I'm a bassist (among other things) and Victor Wooten is my personal lord and savior.

dude, i just listened to your tracks, and i LOVE them. I've been really trying to get into electronic stuff like your Scratch demo. Are you familiar with Jeff Beck's latest album? Also stuff like Particle, Jamiroquai, John Scofield's Uberjam... things like that.
anyway, i'm sure a degree at Berklee has a lot to do with it, but if you ever have time to share a few pointers, or at least some recommendations on where to start, i'd be eternally grateful.
