Hello from London!

Hey Guys
I'm Jack, currently living in London, joined the Iphone 3g community officially today, picking it up at the post office. Can't put the thing down, it isn't by all means the best phone but by god it comes close, I can't get over the web browsing! Still trying to work my way through the free apps and sorting out the novelties from the necessities (there's a very thin line!)
hope I can learn a lot from you guys and look forward to sharing my experiences

Welcome to EiC. I absolutely love London, it's one of the only cities outside the U.S. in which I could foresee myself living.

Have you thought about Jailbreaking?

Welcome. I love London as well. Lived there for a dozen years, in various areas - Ealing was my favorite.

Especially it's 0c or less here at the moment (very unusual for London even in mid winter).
YoungBink, I have looked at jailbreaking but trying to figure out if the pros outweigh the cons.
Are most applications for jailbreaked phones free?
