Default Hello Everyone!

Hello Everyone! I'm new to the forum, but I got my iPhone back in November of 2007. I'm a software developer, so I was very excited to see the iPhone SDK. I've played around with Joe Hewitt's javascript / css framework for the iPhone, which I found very easy to use. I'm also in the process of playing around with some Lego + iPhone magic.... I'll keep you all posted. I think it's great to see so many folks excited about the iPhone!

Welcome.

Always cool to see a developer here, and adding Lego into the mix, definitely a bonus.

Are you looking at native app development as well, or web apps apps only?

I haven't come up with a good idea enough yet to learn Objective C, I'm pretty happy right now sticking with Safari development. Are there many folks here in the forums that develop apps? I was very impressed when Jobs announced the $100mil iFund... I'm sure that will lead to a lot of innovation.

I think there are a handful of developer types and / or aspiring developers in here. Look forward to hearing more about what you end up working on ...

Welcome to EIC! Like Patrick said it's great to see a developer stumble upon the forums. I can't wait to see what the App Store has to offer.

welcome will. as you'll soon see, iCafe really has no more to do with the site than you or i. this community was once called everythingiphone, but apple made Chris, the site moderator, change it to not include the word iphone. it was then changed to everythingicafe, which icafe, the person, joined shortly thereafter. certainly all questions are welcomed and are usually met with an intelligent response. you got here at a good time. we're all expecting next month to be interesting.
