GPRS settings for orange

I can connect to the internet using wifi and am unable to connect via orange ( i goto edge:

· APN address (Contract): orangewap
· Username: Orange
· Password: Multimedia

but am unable to connect to web, weather etc.

Also what are the yahoo mail settings as i went to OTHER, entered host name: pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk, my user id for yahoo and password and got message: username or pasword for "pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk" is incorrect.

You need to use:

APN: orangeinternet
Username: user
Password: pass

Then you'll be fine.

I am having the same problem with my orange on my iphone.

I will try you sugestion, but I dont know where I find my EDGE setting in my Iphone.

You need to look in settings/general/network/edge. There you will find a place to enter the settings.

The problem is that even with the settings you suggested, I still dont get my EDGE to work.

Firstly, you are in the UK aren't you?

Secondly, do you have edge switched on?

There's an app available in installer called services that will allow you to turn edge on and off. Give that a try.

i cant get it to save the settings everytime i go back in settings are blank again

Hi

My name Saqi and I am writing from Glasgow. I am orange mobile phone use and I bought iphone.

Iphone working fine when I am using wifi, however it does not work with orange free data that I get.

I tried the following setting

APN: orangeinternet
Username: user
Password: pass

Still not working, can some one advise me on this issue please.
Sofeware version that I have on the phone is – 2.0.1 (5B108)

u have to put
orangeinternet and leave both empty and it is working fine the internet
