BAD Rogers!

Rogers just increased the hardware upgrade eligibility to two years for non-smartphones, it used to be one up until last week.

I wanted to use my girlfriend's upgrade to get the next iPhone (Summer 2010). She was suppose to be eligible for an upgrade on the 3rd of September this year, now she's going to eligible in September 2010.

BAD Rogers!

Don't fret, even if you have to pay the $400/$500 pricing every year, you can get a new iPhone for free (or very close to free) every year by selling your old one on eBay/craigslist. iPhones hold their value quite well. If you do get it at subsidized pricing $200/$300, you'll make money a year later when you sell it for $400+.

But I thought I had all planned out! One year I use my upgrade and the following, I use hers and the process repeats it self! lol!

Rogers had to screw it all up!

You can't blame them. They have to recoup the cost of the devices. They are worth more than $200/$300 and they can't do that in 12 months unless your monthly service plan in high.
