Default Apple History?

Hiii everyone! I am having to write a college paper about commerical arguments so why not discuss products that I adore. APPLE! We not only have to discuss the ethos, pathos, logos, of it but also the background and why the commerical displays the way it does. So what I am asking is could I get your inputs on what to put in, where, or is there anywhere I can find the history of Apple, Microsoft, etc., etc., Anything will help greatly. Except siding with MicroSUCK, just kidding but anything will help really. If you want to see the criteria for the paper shoot me a PM

Try Wikipedia. I'm sure you can get a good deal of history from their articles.

I'm actually writing a paper of similar nature right now. I am using a book called "The perfect thing: how the iPod shuffles commerce, culture, and coolness" It's by Steven Levy. It's got a hell of a lot of information, I'd look it up. I had to get mine through my schools inter library loan system so it took a few days, well worth it!

A google search should give you all the information you need for your paper (the internet and google are my Bffs....did i just say Bff?)
I didnt know the launch day was april fools day, interesting:
On April Fool's Day, 1976, Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs released the Apple I computer and started Apple Computers. The Apple I was the first with a single circuit board used in a computer.
Heres the link for the complete History: http://inventors.about.com/od/cstart..._Computers.htm

One of my favorite books is Insanely Great. It does a great job of explaining what happened back in Silicon Valley. Xerox, PARC, Jobs, Gates... good read for anyone looking for the history of Apple and computers for that matter.

Whoa! Thanks for all the replies guys! If I can get ahold of either one of those books that would be an awesome sources! As for a wikipedia source teachers don't seem to take it as an actual one. Even though nearly ALL of everything on there is right.

the nice thing about wikipedia is that they actually cite their sources (and if one is needed, they let you know), so you don't have to quote wikipedia itself... just use it as a research tool.

wikipedia is a great research tool. I just click the citations and find the original one, if it looks legit then I've got a good source, if not its back to searching again!
