Why does YouTube video quality suck on the iPhone?
Been wondering why thought that with my v1 was because it would take a while to load but with the 3gs it's still crappy. Is there's setting somewhere I missed? Or am I just stuck with it? Other ahem sites have great quality

The videos are streamed in high quality over WiFi and low quality over 3G or Edge.
Here's a video that shows how to change it so you can watch them in high quality over 3G.

Or, if you're willing to jailbreak and don't mind paying $2, get the Cydia app called "3G Unrestrictor", then open the app and add YouTube to the list. Now iPhone will always think you're on Wifi and always play high quality YouTube, even on 3G and Edge. I bought it and I love it.
