Mine started doing this when I spilled half a bottle of grape soda on it while it was sitting on my desk at work. I briefly lost my mind and I'm sure I appeared to be having some sort of seizure to my co-workers as I snatched it up and frantically wiped it off. It displayed the message you described off & on for about an hour & I thought I had ruined it. After that hour, it never displayed it again, and was fine from that point on.

I just started having this problem with my 3G today. It wasn't plugged into anything, nor had it been since the overnight charge (with the charger that came with the phone).

I've only had *this* phone since Friday (they already replaced the one I got on the 11th). ::sigh::

I was kinda hoping to find bunches of other people having the problem, too.. but it looks like notsomuch.

Rebooting the phone didn't correct it. Guess I'll try a restore... or maybe I should just wait an hour and see if it stops... ack.
