Default Warranty questions

I bought my iPhone mid December. I didn't buy the warranty thing the mac guy was trying to sell. Does the phone come with any warranty at all automatically or did I have to buy it? And can I still buy it if I want to? And lastly what does the warranty entail? Is it just software problems and they'll fix it? Thanks in advance.

you have a year on a defective product. You have 14 days on a return....You can always BUY the extra protection......The one year it comes with is fine for most folks...If you're without normal motor skills then you can justify the extra cost...
