Dear AT&T,
I must say, having had the iphone 3g for some time now, this is the best cell phone I have ever had. The shear concept of Apples latest iphone is mind blowing let alone the functionality. However, as far as receiving and/or sending multimedia messages goes I am at a loss.
The "viewmymessage.com" idea is, in respect to the iphone, utterly shameful. This, ironically enough, is probably the single worst feature I have ever been subjected to in my adult life. First of all it's a hassle. To have to visit an outside source (a web page) to view a multimedia message in light of all this phone does is inexcusable. Secondly, and most importantly, it hardly ever works. Out of one hundred attempts to log in to view my multimedia message, it might work twice. That's a ninety eight percent failure rate and I just don't get it. For all the greatness that this phone reeks of, why hobble it with such a poor feature? I am truly at a loss here.
Unfortunately AT&T did not design the iPhone, that is Apples fault that you have to use viewmymessage. You should have split the email into two. Complain about how ****ty viewmymessage is. Like the fact that the username and password are completely impossible to remember and because of the iPhones lack of cut and paste it is an enormous hassle to get the username and password correct. Then you can go complain about the lack of MMS support for the phone to Apple. In the end everything will remain the same though. I don't see Apple pulling their heads out of their ass's anytime soon...
