Ha! How long have you had your phone? Give it some time...before long you'll hate viewmymessage.com as much as the rest of us.

    So sick of viewmymessage.....

I just sent corporate an email,

    Dear AT&T,
I must say, having had the iphone 3g for some time now, this is the best cell phone I have ever had. The shear concept of Apples latest iphone is mind blowing let alone the functionality. However, as far as receiving and/or sending multimedia messages goes I am at a loss.
The "viewmymessage.com" idea is, in respect to the iphone, utterly shameful. This, ironically enough, is probably the single worst feature I have ever been subjected to in my adult life. First of all it's a hassle. To have to visit an outside source (a web page) to view a multimedia message in light of all this phone does is inexcusable. Secondly, and most importantly, it hardly ever works. Out of one hundred attempts to log in to view my multimedia message, it might work twice. That's a ninety eight percent failure rate and I just don't get it. For all the greatness that this phone reeks of, why hobble it with such a poor feature? I am truly at a loss here.

Unfortunately AT&T did not design the iPhone, that is Apples fault that you have to use viewmymessage. You should have split the email into two. Complain about how ****ty viewmymessage is. Like the fact that the username and password are completely impossible to remember and because of the iPhones lack of cut and paste it is an enormous hassle to get the username and password correct. Then you can go complain about the lack of MMS support for the phone to Apple. In the end everything will remain the same though. I don't see Apple pulling their heads out of their ass's anytime soon...

True, at&t are not the designers, however, they are reaping the benefits. I will take that advice though and send a copy to Apple. I also agree with you that the username and password are difficult to remember plus the lack of cut and paste does suck.

I don't understand why ATT can't just send a random link enabling you to just click it and view your message. Screw all that password crap.
    Why so serious?

I hate posting words like stupid, or morons, so I won't. Oh, too late........
The two people in this thread that tell people to shut up or that they slapped theirselves in the face have absolutely no clue, I mean none. Viewmymessage is the worse thing associated with the Iphone, period!

If everyone of us called AT&T to complain about Viewmymessages then we might get something done. It would be fairly easy to include a clickable link in the message to take you directly to a workable viewmymessages.com, but unless AT&T gets enough complaints about this, nothing will be done. Everyone, call now, call often. Eventually even AT&T has to respond to customer complaints.
