text limit?

Is there a limit on the amount of text messages you can store. Before you have to erase them all?

Yes, I'm not sure what that number is (somebody else may) but you will get a notification when it's almost full.

You don't have to erase them all, just enough to clear room for the new ones that you receive. I've had to do this several times now, but I usually just swipe the whole thing clean.

in the phone catagory, the iphone has UNLIMITED room on it...... and yet they put a limit on txts..... how does that work lol

Wouldn't be so bad if I could eliminate individual messages instead of having to delete the whole thread. I have threads for all my friends going back to when I bought the phone merely for the convenience of having their name right there to hit and text quickly.

Yeah, SMS needs an overhaul... probably one of the most complained-about apps.
