Phone reviewers

So im curious. These ireporters and others that are constantly unboxing and reviewing new phones...how do they pay for them? Are they through sponsors? Do they sign a plan, activate the phone, review/play and then terminate and sell? Ive always been curious how this works

I would imagine it is different for each reviewer's situation. Some probably review and write for a living, and others just do it to help others out.
