I'd make sure to fill an external HD that has itunes on it WITH EVERY LAST CD, then trading them all in.

Of course you would. But do you think the service is legit is the question?
Wow. I'd never heard of that service before.
*runs to check out how many CDs I could send them*
I never listen to my CDs anymore (already ripped everything to my Mac) and have a handful of DVDs I'd be willing to let go. I'll have to think about doing this if I have enough to trade in for an iPod/iPhone model I actually want.
You need a jewel case with original artwork front and back. I threw away my backs years ago and most of my fronts as well. Oh well, at least this news story has me ripping a bunch of CDs I'd forgotten about into my iTunes library![]()
Ha! that's a nice deal. Of course my CD collection is all Arabic and since a very long time but I wouldn't give it away because it's valuable to me. I am not a collector, but my father was in the music industry for so long and he has a whole cupboard filled with albums, most of them are with SEALED boxes, too. Actually, there are also some Spanish and Italian songs among the albums.

A dirty joke is a sort of mental rebellion.
Darn, I just threw away my jewel cases 4 months ago. I was storing them in the garage even though I put my cds in the big wallet holders. Oh well.

Found this for what it's worth. Never know who really wrote these reviews, but there it is.
i have a question... it says they send you a check for iphones since they can't do activations... so is the check for the subsidized or non-subsidized cost?
at first it seems cool, but sacrificing 250 CDs for a $199 8GB iPod touch doesn't seem like a good deal. That's less than $1 per CD. You could do much better by selling them on Amazon or just trading them in at a used CD shop.
