Default Need feedback on my website (iPhone friendly design)

hi all,
just looking for some feedback from iPhone owners on a new skin for our website that is optimized for the device. This is a video game and general technology news and community website.

The full website is www.straferight.com and the iPhone version can be found at http://m.straferight.com

Thanks for any feedback, I'm one of two iPhone users I know so I don't have a lot of input as of yet.

It's very busy. I don't know how much you know about web site design, but there over 500 html errors on the page. It's imperative that you eliminate the errors if you want to attract as many users as possible to your page.

You ask.

Good luck

500 html errors? I'm not sure you went to the correct website.

Run your page through the HTML validator; http://validator.w3.org/

Thanks,
But I'm looking for feedback on the iPhone design. Everything on the pages renders and works just fine. Google crawls quickly and there are no browser errors. Frankly, you can run any number of bigtime sites through that validator and see hundreds of errors.

It is a very good design, I like it a lot. It also seems to work pretty well too. I have never been to your site, but looking over it for a few minutes (the iPhone version), I think I will look at it more often. While I am not obsessed with video games like I am obsessed with the iPhone (LOL), I still like to play every once and a while and I thought your forums were pretty helpful. I do have one suggestion however. When you add your site to the homescreen, I don't think the icon you provide really matches the iPhone friendly site. It should be red IMHO. Other than that, its great.

Maybe, but that doesn't make them right.

Thanks Monkeys... Yes, our icon is still being updated. The guy doing the graphics doesn't have the iPhone or iTouch so we're going back and forth making sure that things are working right.

I appreciate the input too Michael180. Would be great to have a perfectly compliant page, but that would add a lot of code and we try to keep the content to code at a good level for SEO. Delicate balancing act Seriously though, I appreciate the input.
