Default My iPhone (safari) can now read Thai!!

it seems that some Thai hackers found their way to get the safari to read Thai fonts. If you read Thai and want to install the Thai language, you can go to "iphone.exteen.com" to download the file. (you need to either jailbreak or unlock your iPhone first before installing the language)

I found this one as well but .bat file and the unknown files make me really nervous, specially on a Windows machine.

Use this method: http://www.pdamobiz.com/forum/PDAfor...TID=95430&PN=1

It is in Thai but you can easily do it just by looking at the pictures.

If you want to write Thai, here is a guide:

http://www.iphone.in.th/iphone/index.php?showtopic=2444

Also in Thai but it is quite easy to do.

1. Download http://www.4shared.com/file/25156557...yboardmen.html and unzip it (you will need it in step 8)
2. Install App Tapp Installer if you don't have it already.
3. Go to http://www.russianiphone.ru/beta/en/ with your iphone
4. It will prompt to install a package, install it.
5. Restart your phone
6. Launch Installer and go to Localization and install Mobile Enhancer version 1.0a3
7. Restart your phone
8. Copy the folder "cyrillic-keyboard.men" you unzip on Step 1 to /Library/MobileEnhancer (scp -r /path/to/cyrillic-keyboard.men root@your.phone.ip.address:/Library/MobileEnhancer)
9. Restart your phone
10. Switch to Thai and English using the .?123 button at the bottom left.
11. Enjoy!

It takes about 5min to do.

Default newer method

The older methods to let Iphone work with Thai do not seem to work anymore. This method works (also with 1.1.4) and is easy:
On a jailbreaked iPhone or iPod Touch go to Installer (also called Installer App). Click 'Sources' and add http://i.freemyiphone.com.
Click 'Install' and go to the category FreeMyiPhone (Thai). Install all apps there(includes fonts and keyboard). Restart your iPhone and go to Settings/General/International/Keyboards. Enable Russian. Now you are done. To use, click the globe in the keybord and select the 'russian' language. Now you see the keyboard with thai fonts. Warning:can probably not be used in combination with Russian.
