It froze........

I was in the middle of sliding the slider to unlock it and it just froze..Its been on that screen for 2 hours now, nothing works. I tried turning it off, plugging it in, everything and nothing does anything? Should i wait for the battery to die? Is my iPhone ever going to come back!?!

have you tried holding both the home and the sleep/wake button at the same time until it resets? lets say around 40 seconds?

do a soft restore.
hold down the home key and the sleep button for about 10 seconds, until the apple logo appears on the screen, and that should fix your problem

no problem, this has happen to me quite a few times and restoring it has always fixed the problem
