is there a way to add ringtone to sms,email

with out modding your iphone, i can't tell the diffrence from an email and sms. Now thats something i would pay for.Can anyone tell me whats a good free ringtone maker for the mac so i can make my 30 second ringtone i am new to the mac and do not know how to use garageband.if someone can tell me how to make ringtone with that, that would be great

I agree, I really dont see myself actually purchasing ringtone but if they offered sound effects i would be all over them.
