Default iphone unlocked?
I got an Iphone on ebay it says latest firmware 1.3 an states :DO NOT INSTALL ANY APPLE SOFWATE UPDATES OR RESTORE YOUR IPHONE! THESE WILL RE-LOCK IT AND CAN POTENTIALLY BRICK YOUR IPHONE! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU RE-LOCK YOUR IPHONE < if im a apple customer would it hurt to update and or instal Ziphone ? thx for your time!

I presume the phone is stock. Does it do everything it's supposed to?

What do you mean "an Apple customer"?

Sorry im an att customer an it does everything but not allowed to get updates i believe there unlocked for use with other services (sprint,alltel,ect.) but since im with att should be no prob right?

If it's stock, go ahead and restore and update to the latest software version 1.1.4. through iTunes. You should be okay.
