On the pictures, you can clearly see the "orange skin" effect on the Invisible Shield. Bodyguardz on left, Invisible shield on the right.

I am not seeing it? I just heard about this orange skin effect from another member on the forum, can you clarify what this is?

hmm...interesting. I have Ghost Armor on mine. It's pretty much the same as Invisible Shield and Bodyguardz. I had mine put on at one of their locations here locally. The guy did a good job on it. I never noticed any "orange skin" effect at all.

Look at the two pictures. Do you notice how the phone on the right has a bumpy texture, as compared to the smooth texture of the phone on the left? The bumpy texture is known as the "orange peel" effect.

You can notice this more on the bottom portion of the phones (the black plastic strip), where the light is reflecting on the left hand side.

Wow, thanks for posting this, I wish I would have seen this before I bought my Invisible Shield. I messed the corners up so bad even using the blow dryer. I emailed the company and they sent me out a new one. I tried that one and the corners came out worse than the first time (I wish I would have left the 1st one one!!) Anyways, I had it on a couple of weeks but the corners just looked like crap and it was bothering me so much to have my shiny new white iphone looking like that so I pulled the back off. I did keep the front on the screen because that part was easy and looks ok. But for now, my backsides naked!!

Can you not return the back for another replacement?

Yes, I already did, I am on my second one, it's just not worth it. I am just keeping the front part on the screen. Besides I am taking my iphone into Apple store to have it exchanged due to silencer button on side of the phone came off so they are giving me a new iphone. (After I had this one jailbroken how I liked it)
