i already have at&t with my mom and sis. how to activate?

i already have at&t with my mom and sis, how do i activate? do i need to get a separate plan? or can it just be added? i want the lowest deal possible. so does this mean i'm going to add $59/mos for 2yrs on my current plan with my family? or (i heard) $20 on top of my family plan should be it. can anyone confirm with me if possible? thanks so much. eip is cool with me

I believe when you go to activate, you tell itunes that you are an existing customer and you just add the 20 data plan to your existing plan. Your best bet is to call at&t and talk to them about the plan etc.

you activate thru itunes...if you're an exsist at-t cust you keep your current voice plan you just have to add the data plan...you're on the right trk...

Do u still get stuck with a 2 year contract if u only add data?

Switching your current phone to the iPhone and adding the data plan will extend "your" portion of the plan by another 2 years but will not affect the contracts of the other phones on the plan.
