How much can I get for my iPhone on eBay?

I wasn't going to buy the new iPhone 3GS, but I was just thinking that if I could get a fair amount for it, I may as well buy the new one. Is anyone else selling theirs and using the money to buy the iPhone 3GS?

So what's the going price for a 16GB white iPhone 3G on ebay? I saw a few auctions that were over $300, but I'm guessing that's only for the jailbroken ones (mine is not jailbroken and I don't want to mess with that stuff).

If you jailbreak and unlock it, you can get a bunch of cash(~$400). Trust me, it's worth it.

I would do that, but when I tried to unlock my v1 iPhone, I ended up breaking it. Luckily the guys at the Apple store fixed it for me, even though they shouldn't have since I voided the warranty. I'll be very happy if I can get like $100-150 for it.

You should get that with no problem. I have been watching ebay once in a while and looks like $250 is about the upper limit unless is is unlocked.

I have seen $300-400 for a jailbroke-unlocked phone. A new one is bringing up to $600 unlocked.

Edit: Should say these prices are for the 8Gig. Haven't look at 16Gig.

I guarantee you will get no less than 200 for that phone. People are pulling in 400 bux for that phone with it being unlocked. Heck I can get 250 for my 8gb V1 with it unlocked.
