So I have an appointment at 5:00 Monday to take in my sons iphone..one problem is mentioned above. The other ones are he has very bad signal and say he's on the internet and all of a sudden the iphone will start to reboot.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips or pointers for me before i take the phone in? Thanks in advance.

restore it, do not restore a backup, do not sync. That's about the best you can do to have it be perfectly wiped clean for Apple and the guy who gets your phone as a refurb

Although apparently you can't truly wipe all data clean (haven't read that thread yet though)

well, you can, just not thoroughly.

you need forensic data recovery software to get to the old data.
Go ahead, quote me. I dare you.
