Contacts and Vista

After updating to 3.0 last night and in advance of hopefully getting a good price on my 3G to get a 3Gs I have a question about syncing my contacts with Vista. I am currently syncing with windows contacts. I had created a separate group in order to keep my iphone contacts separate from my regular windows contact, but when I sync them I get them all in both my regular contacts and the new group that I created. Can anyone help me to keep them separate from my regular contacts? Thanks.
