Bracket () for area code?

I just realized that all of the sudden the bracket () that used to be around the area code when i dial number (also in my contact list) has disappeared.....

how the numbers are all just in a chain of number

eg: 4087327531 instead of (408)732-7531

anyone know why is that? how do I make that appear again?

Now that's a problem I've never seen nor heard of before.

What firmware are you running? Any recent updates? Any recent changes to Settings>Phone?

They still appear on numbers I dial.

I have firmware 1.0.1
hacked but not unlocked.

Never had a problem like this, it just turned into this way this morning.

tried the international assist, nothing has changed so far.

this bracket thing happened to me... i restored my phone and now this problem is solved... so i guess a system restore would solve your problem

wow, it is that much hassle?

*sigh, really dun wanna do all the mods again though.....

I guess I will have to live with it until the next *major* update..
