Default BPM counter in iPod

Hey guys... another little 3.0 feature I just figured out this morning: I've been noticing that for a lot of my music, The play controls on the iPod "nod" every so often, dipping down onto the volume slider and making it disappear briefly. It's tough to describe if you haven't seen it, but it's odd-looking. And I've been trying to figure out why it's been doing that ever since about 3.0 beta 3.

Just today, however, I realized the frequency of dipping depends on the track, so I realized that this is indicating a BPM tag for the file (Beats Per Minute... or tempo). I had forgotten that I used a utility to tag the BPM of my entire library a while back for a jailbreak program called SynchStep. Anyway, I don't know how useful that little amount of feedback is (especially since it almost always drifts throughout the song), but I thought I'd share regardless so it didn't confuse anyone else.
