no idea what blocked callers are, but my aunt called me and i received a missed call, in v/m she left me a message, so it was obviously her, but in the missed call section it said blocked or something like that.

Confused? yes.

supposedly there is software that can be had to "tweak" the phone so that calls coming into your iphone that are "blocked" do not even ring on your phone. instead a message is played for the caller that states unblock your number this phone does not accept blocked calls. i need something like that any ideas anyone?
many thanks.

You can just call AT&T and request that you not accept blocked calls.

I just told them that I wanted to block "unknown" and "blocked" solicitors calling my cell number.
Tell them that you want a block on your line to prevent solicitors with blocked caller ID from being able to call through to you. It should give them a message that says "the party you have called does not accept incoming calls from partys with their numbers blocked." or something to that affect.

i had the exact same issue with at and t...they basically told me its not possible to block incoming blocked numbered calls. they said if you are being harassed by blocked calls the only thing you can do is to change your number? thats ridiculous there has to be another alternative
any ideas ANYONE? i did hear some rumblings about an aftermarket product thats supposed to handle this? but no one knows any specifics thus far.
mark

This is all very strange since I was able to do it with a phone call to customer service. I just dialed 611 and when I got a live person, they handled the first reason I called, and when they asked if there was something else they could do for my, I said yes, can you stop unknown or blocked calls from reaching me? I have a friend that has this on his home line and I would like it on my phone.
