Default Are they still bricking???

My iPhone is still the original virgin pre any update iPhone with all my cool 3rd party apps. I haven't been on here in a while just checking in every once in a while. Are peoples iPhones still getting bricked when they update??? Some of the new features of 1.1.3 make me finally want to go back to an unhacked version and update but I really don't want to get bricked...

Good Question. I'm in the same boat as you. I would like to finally update but not if I'm gonna brick the damn thing. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

When you press, Restore, you must Restore & Update.

You can update to 1.1.3 form a jailbroken 1.1.2. I tried it last night (jailbroke to test it out) and I'm on 1.1.3, un-bricked. There is a rather large portion of 'Other' in iTunes, though.
