Question Anyone really rich own an iPhone and willing to reveal themselves?

I read an article once that said that most iPhone purchasers were middle to lower class citizens who have problems with money already. I personally am a poor college student in debt, so I fall into their stereotypical category. I was just wondering if there's anyone who knows they are very well off and aren't too embarrassed to let us know...

Default Rich?

I am NOT rich, but I am comfortable in my lifestyle. Buying the iPhone was not a major set back. And, I live in a nice area.

I am enjoying my iPhone. It does what I want it to do, let's me easily stay in touch and allows me to do some great things (i.e. find a good restaurant nearby).

I know some people who are very well off, and they were at the Apple store on Friday night buying their iPhones also. It's a great product.

Now would I be willing to reveal my true identity? Nope.

Default College

I consider myself to be lower middle class. 26 years old. Independent.
I definitley could have used to money to pay off some bills. I do not regret buying the iphone. best device ever. haven't had a single issue with it so far.
However, I do regret buying the 8 GB. I really wanted the 4GB iphone. I hardly listen to music or watch movies on the go. so i dont really care too much about space.

But i went to over a dozen at&t apple stores and i was lucky that a couple of them only had a few 8 gb iphones.

I'm not at all rich, but comfortable.

I think any author that said most purchasers were middle to lower class citizens with money problems didn't spend any time on the Apple forums the first few days of the iPhone frenzy... when there were posts like "can I pair the iPhone with my BMW" or "the iPhone goes great with my Land Rover"...

(neither of which I drive, BTW, LOL)

I am far far from what I would consider "wealthy", IMHO.
I think of myself as lower middle class, late 30s, no boat, no second home, no country club membership, ect, but maxing out my 401K. Small, but nice home, kids in private school.

We have two iPhones (paid in full, not credit), and mine pairs with my '07 BMW (Euro Delivery)...

FWIW I know people much more well off who bought several iPhones.
But not the type of geeks (like myself) who read and post on forums.

I mean this is the first computer I bought with summer job money circa 1983 if that tells you anything... (white and nerdy)
Oh I wish I had that TRS-80 PC-2 back in mint condition - haha

Absolutely middle class. My husband is a fireman/paramedic. He bought this for me because he knows I love all the latest technology and really wanted this phone even though him and the kids have Verizon. We have a house and RV and 4 kids, jr. high, high school, and one graduated so we are comfortable but still have lots of bills. He drives a nice truck and I drive a modest Chrysler Pacifica. It's all in what you really want to spend your money on.
