Aluminum or Plastic???

What I really like about the 3G is the shape of the back; that little curve really makes it feel better in my hand.

The aluminum dented too easy. I think the plastic will fare better long term.

i'm keeping my alumiPhone as long as possible. Plastic is just so... ugh.

didnt like it when i picked up my friends 3g phone. felt pretty cheap.

It's WAY cheaper!!! I like the shape of the plastic backing better.

i like the plastic back more like prijikn said the aluminum dented too easily and it fealt cheaper to me for some reason...the black plastic is sooo sexy and the white one is like its slighty less sexy twin sister...when i hold the 3g in my hand it actually feels like a phone to me as with the v1 felt like a brick with round edges

I'm w/Dave on this one. I prefer the aluminum for the looks but like the light weight of the plastic.

I love my 3G. The faster internet and GPS rock and I use it every day, but I sure do miss the aluminum back. It didn't crack, there were no scratches on it and no dents either. My plastic back is full of scratches, has one crack and I got light shinning through the bezel (i know, not back related). Only if they could have put all the 3G goodness into the v1 case

I like plastic and aluminum... I use shields on mine so I can't feel them anyways. Dig the look of aluminum but the shape they made plastic feels better.
