Well, as soon as I told them that I was gonna hack the iPhone to use with T-Mobile and just sell whatever phone I got from the store on eBay, he dropped the price by another $100. I guess he was just excited to get an iPhone user on T-Mobile finally.

And in response to your comment, he gave me that discount before even checking my credit. I don't know how much credit has to do with it. If he checked it after, I couldn't tell. If he did, I'm a single 25 year old in college and my credit was good enough to get the big discount so I bet others will be fine.

Nice, that was really well written.

Ok, so if I switched, could I get the $29.99 300 Minutes Individual Basic Plan, the $9.99 1000 Texting Plan, and the $5.99 T-Zones?

And you're saying my ETF from AT&T will be basically paid off by selling the free phone I get from them?

So then my monthly cost would be $45.97, but with my 15% corporate discount it would only be $39.07 plus tax.

And does T-Mobile allow multiple discounts to apply?

Thanks.

Haha wow man, you just resurrected an 8 month old thread! Yes your free phone will more than pay your EFT, you'll actually make money if you do it right. I don't know about multiple discounts, T-Mobile is pretty sweet though, they might go for it. Call them 1800TMOBILE

BTW, the original post is talking all about how to hack the phone on 1.1.1 FW. Ignore that! Just use ZiPhone nowadays, works much better.

yes t-mobile is a lot cheaper, and bigboss has all the hacks to download to make it work. no more of that going into the files stuff which I never could understand how to do.

I know this is an old thread but I have a question, I'm under 18, so I could I use the same type of plan mentioned in this thread, except with t-mobile's flexpay,so I don't have to pay an annual contract? And even with the flexpay do I still have to pay by credit card?

I'm pretty sure they'll take your money if you want to give it to them.
The only thing is that Visual Voicemail won't work.
