Chris, are you sure Navizon is free? According to the following link, it costs $24.99. "This application will be fully functional for 15 days. If you like it, you can purchase it for $24.99. But for those of you who of you who may wonder what this money is used for, it isn't going in our pocket. It is used to pay the ones who do the hard work of collecting the data without whom this service wouldn't be possible. So by purchasing the software you are helping them make the service better."

There are actually occasionally people who post stuff on here who happen across accurate info and share it. They usually regret it due to harrassment. Take the poster's statement for what it's worth, and if he can't tell how he knows, like he said, don't ask.
Thank you for understanding.

There is a free version and there is a premium version for $25. I have the free version which works OK. The premium version lets you track buddies and is accurate to within a 1000 meters I believe. What you can do is uninstal the existing version you have that is expired, reinstall the latest version. That worked for me.

I suggest we all use the free version as the next firmware update will have the find me option on the Google Maps. My guess is there will be a hack for the firmware and at some point we will be able to upgrade our already jailbroken and unlocked phones to work with the new firmware, just like we are doing with the 1.1.2 firmware.

I cant believe people are putting down a new upgraded iphone that noone knows the facts about. I think this is going to have a lot of changes seeing as how long they have been waiting to put it out and Apples new products are usually "revilutionary". Lets wait and see what it going to have before putting it down and stating whether or not were going to go spend X amount on it.

I'm with Chris, I think Apple is going to have to come out with a lot more than 3G to pique my interest in cracking my wallet. (And I crack my wallet fairly easily at Apple stores.)

I think I'm going to be perfectly pleased with my current phone for a while, especially if cool new native apps start popping up here and there.

I think 3g is underrated. If you have it available in your area you will have about 3x faster internet browsing on your iphone.

I have never had the pleasure of using 3G... I live in the capital city of Michigan- Lansing - and am not covered... Anyhow, I doubt that apple would be so dumb as to only add 3G to the mix and call it the 2G iPhone (2nd generation for the slow out there). Personally, I don't believe that there will be a 3G iPhone until the late part of this year or early '09

I'm not sure that 3G is worth all of that for me. I have WiFi access at work, home and many other places locally. EDGE isn't perfect, but it works well enough for browsing the web when I don't have a WiFi connection available. Plus from my experience with the 3G capable Blackjack, 3G will effectively halve the battery life (especially for all of those who want to talk and surf at the same time!) But this is just my opinion... as always, YMMV.
