Would you buy the new iPhone if it doesn't have anything but 3G?
With the recently released patents and all the rumors of video conferencing, GPS and the like, expectations can easily be set unrealistically high. If it turns out most of these features don't make it onto the new iPhone, and there's not much more than 3G, will you buy it?

I wouldn't buy just for the 3g, although I would buy the new iphone for more features. I believe the next generation iphone will have more than just 3g.

Certainly it will have more features than just 3G. But if not, I would give the LG VU a try. But only if it's UI is as easy as the iPhone's. Like many, I'll be stuck at work from morning to night on Monday, so I'm counting on y'all on this forum to post details from the WWDC. Then it's decision time. I don't expect it'll be a hard one though.

If it has 3G and at least 16 GB then I will get it for sure. I'm assuming that it will have at least 16 GB so I'm going to go ahead and vote yes.

I am sure it will have more than 3G, but it will have to have a lot more to get me to buy. I am also interested in what the data plan will cost.

that's another good point. I can live with Edge if it means another $20/month for 3g.

Some people on the forum seem to think the data plan will not increase in price, but I can't see getting 3G for the same price we are paying now. 3G has to cost more.
