theres a post about this in the 3gs forum. ATT has rights till 2010 at least then who knows if they will be able to renew. At least a year and a half before they even think about it if at all.

Please search, this has been discussed a BILLION times.

Short answer, no, not until Verizon is LTE, or for some reason Apple decides to make a CDMA version for a dying technology. Which is not likely.

I just left VZW for several different reasons, but rest assured that when they do get the iPhone, the GPS will be locked out. Not to mention that it will probably be crippled in other ways as well. My transition to the iPhone will end up costing me about $800+ after contract terminations and buying two 3GS's. It's been worth every penny so far. This forum has been a BIG help. Thanks.

The smartphone that Microsoft is rumored to be developing might be releasing on Verizon. No dates yet but considering new iPhones and Android models are coming in plenty, it has to be soon.
