Talk about a crazy day on the Verizon/iPhone rumor front. First we get talks, now we're up to development of two entirely new iPhone-like devices. This rumor is coming from Business Week, making it more credible than your average rumor.

I'm to lazy to search this out but as I recall did people not find version numbers for 3 or 4 different apple products in the latest firmware? Besides the 1,1 and 2,1. I would say these are the answers.

But I wonder how "lite" it would be? After all, Apple is the one saying they'll never have a netbook (aside from the MBA) because it was have to skimp on offerings.
