iPhone2,1

For those that remember, the first gen iPhone was named iPhone1,1 in the firmware, then before the 3G came out someone found "iPhone1,2" in the firmware. Well now someone has found "iPhone2,1"

Could it be that we are only a few months away from a new iPhone?

I was just thinking, but could this possibly be an addition to the iPhone rather than a revision? I thought of this because its now 2,1 instead of 1,3. So far for the revisions of the iPhone and iTouch they changed from 1,1 to 1,2. Why else would they have 2 numbers?

It means new iPhone. The original iPhone is named iPhone 1,1 and the iPhone 3G is named iPhone 1,2. This new iPhone is iPhone 2,1
