If it comes out the same time next year as the 3GS did this year it is timed perfectly for when my Orange contract ends

I don't see any reason why Apple would break from their 1-a-year release schedule. Seems to be working great for them. And I think the 3GS has enough speed and features to keep it king until 2010 no problem.

I wouldn't mind if they didn't release a new model until 2011. I know it isn't something iPhone ver 1 and 3G owners want to hear though.

IMO, any truly innovative tech firm will have a replacement model in the works by the time it releases a new device.
