Agreed, the interior is where the good stuff is at.

Plus as with any Apple product, the next gen version has an updated exterior(also updated interior). Look at any ipods that they have sold over the years, none look the same as the previous one(other than the 1st and 2nd ipod classics):

Remember the last time this happened? Look at the icon in the 2.0 beta, and look at the current 3G. It still had a black, plastic volume button.

I wouldn't expect these to be exactly what the new phone will look like.

Haha this was found around the same time as last year

I'm not sure about the images yet too and the ones last year didn't even have a sleep wake button. I doubt they are ever going to put the exact new look into the SDK until we see them on stage with the new iphone in their hands. Although with the rumor of them keeping the current 8GB iphone as a cheaper option, they could be keeping the glossy plastic look so they look like a family and not have an odd looking one(the 8GB) being sold by the new ones.
