New Iphone: When will it be out?

I know it has probably been asked a million times, so I figured why not ask the question one more time.

I currently own the 1st generation Iphone and debating wheater to get the 3G Iphone or wait to see if a new model comes out anytime soon. What do you guys/gals recommend? Should I wait to see if the new model comes out or just buy the 3G Iphone?

We are ONLY 90 days away from what is speculated to be the date for WWDC'09 (6/6/09).

I would atleast wait that long.

What is WWDC?

World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) has been the annual event since 2007 when new iPhones are released/announced. Its actually been going on for quite sometime but what I'm saying is that 2007 and 08 were iPhone related.

I have the same problem as the OP. My contract for my first gen iPhone runs out in May. I guess I'll stick with the iPhone 1 until number 3 comes out. Hopefully it will be this year!

Well lets hope it does happen because, I am tired of seeing everyone with the 3G Iphone and its new capabilities.
