More Fuel ... - iPhone 3G

for the ever-growing rumor mill on 3G launch.

Take this with generous helpings of salt of course, as with all the stuff flying around lately.

I got an email this morning from an iPhone case manufacturer, just mainly talking about general subjects. He casually threw in at the end that they'd be releasing their first 3G model cases in 3 weeks, and would get me some samples etc.

I'm sure it's possible his release dates could change, but I don't believe he has any reason to invent stuff in a simple email exchange - and it was quite nice to see 3 weeks mentioned ...

That would be right around the WWDC. I can't remember, were cases available on iDay? I wasn't interested in getting one so I can't even remember if any were for sale.

Yep yep. Carrying cases and silicone covers were available in the Apple store on iDay.

Funny you should say that. At this very moment I'm repairing a Vista desktop on my PC. When I'm done with that, I'll repair a Leopard install on it as well.
