And red. And white.

Compare the Touch HD, Omnia HD and N97 with the iPhone, the iPhone looks premitive. Windows 6.5 is SO much better looking that the iPhone OS. I thought they were going to change/upgrade the look, but that's not gonna happen. There is no home screen with the iPhone. The 6.5 home screen with the widgets is amazing.

I'm not saying change the look of the phone. I mean update it. Make it look different so that there is a logical reson for one to upgrade. And for god's sake, CHANGE the menu screen!

They've already robbed us by not giving the features they are eventually going to provide in 3.0, built in when the V1 came out. It took 2 years for the iPhone to have cut-copy and MMS. The no-MMS in V1 is absolute crap.

I'm gonna wait till June, if there is no change, I'm going with the Touch HD.
LOL you said Windows Mobile

Wow. The 3G iphone is worlds better then the V1. Design and all. The metal backing on the V1 was a terrible choice. The plastic backing on the 3G helps it stay in your hand. Also feels better holding it.

The new phone will be black or white, just like the 3G version.

Theorize all you want, but that's what it'll be!

What can they really change about the form factor? It's a touch screen phone. There are no buttons to change, changing the shape would be just weird, what do you want? A screen that starts off wide at the bottom then narrows as it goes up? All there is to change is to make it slimmer as the technology gets better.

I obviously agree. It's a slate phone with an iconic home button. It's not going to change drastically any time soon.

I just hope they don't pull a fast one like they did with the white 3G only being available in the 16gb version. I bought the 16gb ONLY for the white color. In essence I paid 100 dollars for a 2 by 4 inch piece of plastic.

I love it when someone else says that out loud. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on the planet who prefers the plastic over the aluminum. My v1 was slippery. My 3G, not a bit. The curved design and plastic back were key to that and tremendous improvements in my opinion.

I prefer the plastic back as well, kisstine.
