I got this point from a thread in Howardforums. Later in the thread, a poster indicates it is possibly April Fools. So, take with a grain of salt. If not mistaken, doesn't iPhoneTony work for iPhoneworld.ca?

It is bs... I spoke to several people who went to the show already to see if it was there before I went tommorow and Apple is not even there at the show...

IF you follow the link now, it states that this was part of their yearly April Fools jokes. Kudos to them for getting just about everyone excited - even for a short time.
