yeah i agree. if they do end up making a flip iphone, similar to the concepts people have made, i would buy that and just use it for certain occasions. also with the laptop thing, that would be totally awesome and solve the problem of using a double touch screen laptop as a tablet too.

I understand those are just concepts at this point, but even as a concept, I prefer the format of the current iPhone. Anytime you add moving parts, things get clumsier and more likely to break. I was really happy Apple went the candybar format for the iPhone (albeit, old-school Hershey bar in width )

I agree, plus you would have to have at best two smaller screens or lose one completely to a keyboard. I like the flat layout with an uninterrupted view on the screen.

I love the idea. Innovation! It's not like they can't have a flip & a candybar in their lineup. Remember apple wants to be a major phone manufacturer eventualy, not just a company with only 1 model out.(with slight variations).

Ugh. I personally wouldnt buy a flip phones and I dont think that is apples style. I'm very happy with the current design of the iPhone and I dont think they really need to expand on it. But a flip phone...just the thought of it scares me haha.
