Question A Real Unlocked iPhone?
Any chances for a real (from Apple) unlocked iPhone? Every other manufacturer has one why shouldn't they?

Apple signed a contract making the iPhone exclusive, unlike other companies.

Apple's deal with AT&T is very lucrative. Not just the profit from the iPhone device itself, but Apple gets a large portion of the monthly minutes earnings. Unlocking the iPhone would eliminate this earnings source.

You can fly to Germany and buy a "Real Unlocked iPhone from Apple". The law there states that all phone companies MUST sell unlocked versions of all their phones.
