Default Videora

I don't know if anyone has posted a link to this program, but this is what I use as a Windows user to convert my DVD's to my iPhone. It's free and easy to use. http://www.videora.com/ I also use DVDShrink to pull the DVD's off the discs.

Videora is my converter of choice when I use the PC. Good recommendation.

I haven't used Videora in a long time; I'll have to check it out again. Thanks.

I LOVE Videora. I use it for all my videos that I have ever converted. It's fast, and it's easy.

Here's my conversion settings that I use:
H.264 codec, Level 3, 768kbps 640x480, 128kbps audio. Also looks good when watching the MP4 videos on my 32" HDTV through S-Video.

Yup, same settings I use. Those are the max settings iPhone supports so any higher than those would be pointless because there would be no notable difference.

If your using an iTouch however the max resolution is 480x360 so doing 640x480 is pointless for that.

I still like using XviD4PSP 5.0 because it lets me adjust the volume of the audio before conversion. A lot of video on the iPhone just isn't loud enough to listen to comfortably without headphones.

I just downloaded Videora and am playing around with it. I cant seem to find those settings. I think that I have looked under each device, but no luck.

I dont have an iPhone or iAnything but am in the market. Just trying to do some research before I buy. Seems that I may have to wait till summer to see if there is any new hardware coming.

You don't have to worry about the device selection. You just have to go to codec/encoder settings. I'll help you more if need be.

Yes please. I see the settings under profile but it doesnt list the 640x480 only 480x320. Totally new to these terms so I may not what you mean. Dont know codec/encoder or where to find.
