Default Tutorial: Put your DVDs on your iPhone Step by Step Instructions

  • Step 1: Rip your DVD movie on to your computer. You can do this with software like DVD Decrypter or Imgburn. Just do a search on Google and you should find a software that can help you do this.
  • Just make sure that you remember where you save your file to so you can retrieve it later.
  • Step 2: Launch HandBrake.( you can find this software on Google also) It should look like this:
  • Handbreak.JPG
  • Step 4:Select a Destination you would like to save your .mp4 file to. (Ex: E:/iTunes/iTunes music/movies/Harry Potter.mp4) or click Browse and select a destination.
  • Destination Handbreak.JPG
  • Step 5:This is where you will set your file size. You can set the Target size of the file but just remember that the smaller the file size you will start to lose the quality of the picture. You can also use the Bitrate setting to determine the quality.(1500 bitrate will give you a file size between 600 to 900mb. the higher the bitrate the bigger the file)

Thanks for the great step by step

I just wanted to note that the "Presets" (in the top menu) work great, i used the middle setting and didn't have to do anything but:
1) Select the DVD files
2) Choose output location
3) Choose middle "Preset"
4) Go!

And movies look killer and the sound is synced (<-- something that I have had bad luck with any other ripper/converter)
