problems with converting dvd's to iphone - iPhone 3G

Hi guys,

I hope this question hasn't been asked before but if it has I'm really sorry. Anyways, I've been trying to convert some of my dvd's to iphone format but consistently I end up with files that have great audio/video quality except for the fact that after about 30 minutes into the movie the video and audio start to split from each other. So at the end of a 2-hour movie you will hear someone talk before you see their mouth open in the video, and there's about a 2-3 second delay between them. Does anyone know what this problem is and/or how I can convert dvd's without this happening?

What are you using to convert your video and are you Mac or PC. I have seend these type of lag on other devices but no the iphone.

Im using "ConvertX to DVD" and "Allok 3GP PSP MP4" and "DVDFab" on a PC as well as "Handbrake" to go from DVD to Phone and "Aimersoft DVD to iPhone". It doesnt seem to matter what I use I get that lag???
