Default I need your recommendation!

I'm looking for a program to convert DVDs to videos that can be transferred to the iPhone. Do you guys have any recommendations?

I have been using DVD2Pod for a while now. It works well and is very simple to use. It has absolutely no bells and whistles but it is free. It is Mac only as far as I know.
