Default DVD to iPhone Conversion for the Technology Challanged (Like Me!)

I have read and re-read multiple times each of the threads/discussions for converting your DVD's to the iPhone. I have tried many of the suggested free programs with varying degrees of success. Quite frankly, some were just to difficult (for me anyway) to use. Too many decisions to make, too many files to move, etc., etc.

Realizing that you generally get what you pay for (free is not always better) I came to the conclusion that I would be willing to pay for a safe, reliable and easy to use program if I could get the results that I wanted.

I did a good bit of research and used the trial versions of several and finally settled on the KIKEE DVD to iPhone Converter.

I don't work for these folks and have no interest in increasing their sales but I thought that if there were other iPhone users out there like me (surely there must be!) that were looking for something like this they might appreciate the recommendation (I know that I would have!)

This is not for you if you like to make adjustments to video in and video out and length and whatever all those other things are! This is basically point and click. It took about 1 1/2 hours to convert Batman Begins. It then moved into iTunes and then my phone flawlessly.

It was $29.95 and I also ordered the CD backup for $12.95. I know that I will more than get my money out of it.

If you're the least bit interested, try the trial version first. It will leave a watermark but you'll still be able to judge the results for yourself.

I hope that this helps somebody else who may have been as confused as me.

Ahh I didn't realize anyone else had tried Kikee. I bought mine a while back and I am completely satisfied. I got the CD backup for $12 too and I have to say the ease of use completely pays for this product in the long run. I mean, once you convert 4 of your own DVDs Kikee has paid for itself especially when itunes is $9.99 a movie.

I agree this is easy to use that is why I bought it, I am kind of baffled why I didn't receive any correspondence from Kikee. I would try the download again but i'm afraid I will be charged twice. I will just wait. I sent them an email.
