    VisualHub

I like VisualHub which does a great job of converting DVD content as well as other video formats to be compatible w/ multiple options including the iPhone. It has a direct setting for such as well as the iPod and Apple TV.

You still need a program to rip the DVD if it is a movie DVD (encrypted). A great solution for that is MacRipper. Not easily located but definitely worth it. Of course, only do this w/ movies you own!
