Default Adding movies that i dont buy from itunes

Is there anyway to upload DIVX movies or mpgs to my i touch that i dont buy from itunes....

Also im not to clear on jailbreaking and how i can use it to add new applications...

Im pretty new to all this so any help would be much appreciated...

You're going to need a video converter that can put the videos you want to put on your iPod in the correct format.

About the jailbreaking, just head over to the "iPhone Modifications" section or use the search feature.

what format do the videos need to be converted into and do you have any suggestions on what a good converter might be.... Once converted do i just drag them into Itunes library?

The video's need to be in MP4 format, and it won't work by just changing the extension in the name.

About the video converter, check the "DVD to iPhone and iPod Touch" section of the forum. It's most likely been covered in there many times.

After you convert the videos, you should be able to add it to iTunes and it should sync with your iPod Touch.
Regardless of the format, any video can be put into iTunes, but that doesn't mean it'll sync.
